Research Abstract

大きな災害をもたらす山地の岩盤崩落、落石の到達距離予測の研究を高度化することを目的に、岩塊群の崩落現象について大規模な物理実験と数値実験を行いました。その結果、流下する岩塊個数が多い流れほど運動中に岩塊同士が頻繁に衝突を繰りかえし、このために運動エネルギーが多く失われて流下距離が短くなることを明らかにしました。
