Research Abstract

本研究は、ベータ崩壊の相関項の精密観測により標準模型の精密検証を行う事を目的として行われた。具体的には、主に偏極核から放出される電子線の横方向偏極度の存在を検証する事で、時間反転対称性の破れを探索する実験を装置開発から初めて本番実験まで行った。
結果として、世界で初めてイベント再構成によるMott散乱非対称観測による時間反転対称性の破れに対する制限を与えることに成功した。本研究の装置を用いて、TRIUMF研究所にて次期計画を実行する予定であり、その最終テストを完了させる事が出来たと言える。
