Research Abstract

高強度レーザー衝撃でのみ実現する極超高圧環境において、従来の性能を大幅に上回る実験・計測技術を確立した。また、通常のレーザー衝撃圧縮の状態から"外れた""高圧力で且つ低温度の状態"を生成するための新制御法の開発・実証を行った。さらに、これまで全くなされてこなかったテラパスカル圧力域での高精度極超高圧試料回収実験を初めて行い、物質創成の証拠と可能性を掴むと共に、ポストダイヤモンド実現への足がかりを得た。
