Research Abstract

種々の粒径を備えた金や銀のナノ粒子の合成に成功した。液/液界面で金属ナノ粒子単粒子膜・超薄膜を作製し、ガラス基板や電極表面に転写して二次元の金属ナノ構造を得ることに成功した。また、金属ナノ粒子やその単粒子薄膜を表面ゾル-ゲル法や、交互積層法を用いて安定に基板や電極表面に坦持できる事および、金属ナノ構造の三次元積層構造を容易に構築可能である事を見出した。
一連の分光測定・光電変換測定により、このような二次元~三次元の金属ナノ構造で発生する局在増強電場に由来すると考えられる色素の発光効率や光電変換効率の向上を確認する事が出来た。
さらにゾル-ゲル法で作製した酸化チタン超薄膜や、交互積層法による高分子電解質層によって、金属ナノ構造と色素(または分子)間の距離を制御することに成功し、体系的に金属ナノ構造で発生する増強電場と色素励起効率の相関についての知見を得る事ができた。
