Research Abstract

本研究では,超高速並列光インターコネクションを実現する新規「屈折率分布(GI)型円形コアポリマー並列光導波路」の試作及び性能評価を行った.このGI型円形コアポリマー並列光導波路は,光ファイバ,平板導波路の長所を兼ね備えた通信デバイスとなる.本研究にて,この新規導波路設計仕様を確立し,光インターコネクション仕様に基づく,通信距離 0.1~100m,通信速度10〜40Gbps,4~16チャネルの並列伝送を実現するポリマー並列光導波路の試作に成功した。
