Research Abstract

分子レベルで材料評価を行える高感度な手法である電子スピン共鳴(ESR)を、有機低分子ペンタセン、フラーレン、ルブレン単結晶などを用いた電界効果トランジスタ(FET)等に適用し、結晶粒内やデバイス界面などにおける有機低分子集合体のミクロ評価を行った。それにより、電界注入キャリアのスピン状態や波動関数等の電子状態を明らかにし、本質的な電荷輸送機構を解明すると共に、有機単結晶の半導体表面における特異的な分子再構成を発見した。
