Research Abstract

海洋植物プランクトンの鉛直分布を広域・連続的に測定することを目指し、以下の成果を上げた。
1)各地で採水した表層海水の紫外励起蛍光スペクトルを測定し、水質と蛍光との関係を得た。
2)海洋クロロフィルライダー装置を製作し、試験水槽において清水中のターゲット水検知能力および鉛直分解能が深度30mまであることを示した。
3)海洋クロロフィルライダー装置を船舶に搭載し、沿岸海洋のクロロフィルとCDOMの鉛直分布および水平分布観測に成功した。また、潮目観測に有効であることを示した。
4)航空機搭載型ライダー装置を設計し、実験用航空機を所有する研究機関と技術的合意を得た。
