Research Abstract

本研究では、生物などに対して最も大きな照射効果が観測される20MeV/u 程度の重イオン照射により生成する活性種の挙動解析を行った。水中反応において最も重要な水酸化(OH)ラジカルの収率は、照射イオンの核種の増大、あるいはエネルギーの減少に伴い減少した。この結果はトラック内反応コードにより良く再現できた。さらに、時間分解分光測定システムを構築し、OH ラジカルによる酸化反応の直接観測に成功した。以上、重イオン誘起水中活性種挙動について、実験・理論的に解明した。
