Research Abstract |
1)前後のパターニングにおけるBMPシグナルの役割 BPM受容体のノックアウトマウスを解析したところ、体の前後の決定に必要なDVE/AVEと呼ばれる細胞が形成されていなかった。また、DVE/AVEはNodalシグナル(+)とBMPシグナル(-)な場所に形成されることが判った。 2)Nodalシグナルの分布を、リン酸化Smad2に特異的な抗体で見る事に成功した。そして、Smad1toSmad2の間には拮抗的な関係がある事が判明した。 3)ActiivinもSmad2を介して、DVE/AVEの形成に必須である。
