Research Abstract

近年、多くの分野の研究で巨大な計算能力が求められており、多数のプロセッサをネットワークで接続したP2P型計算グリッドはその要求に応えるものとして期待されている。本研究では、P2P型計算グリッドで頻繁に利用される集合通信操作の効率化を行うことで、P2P型計算グリッドにおける処理の効率化を目指す。そのためには、プロセッサ等の異種混合性を考慮したアルゴリズム、環境の動的変化に対する高い自己適応能力をもつアルゴリズムが求められる。本研究では、集合通信操作をはじめとするさまざまな問題について上記の性質をもつアルゴリズムを提案した。
