Research Abstract

中枢神経系のシナプス伝達において、シナプス小胞の開口放出が障害されることで、脳の高次機能にどのような影響を与えるか検討するため、開口放出を制御するSNARE蛋白質の欠損マウスの作成を計画し、それを用いた解析を行った。その結果これらのマウスで顕著な行動障害が見られ、ヒト精神神経疾患に関わる可能性が示唆された。
