Research Abstract

酸素分圧が同じ低圧低酸素環境と常圧低酸素環境で,生理応答や運動トレーニングの効果に違いが生じるのかを検討した.
その結果,酸素分圧が同じでも気圧が異なると体内に取り込まれる酸素の量に差が生じた.トレーニングの効果では,有酸素的能力の改善に気圧の違いによる差はなかったが,無酸素的能力の改善は低圧低酸素環境でトレーニングを行った方がその改善の程度が大きかった.
常圧低酸素環境を利用して低圧低酸素環境(≒自然の高所)と同様の効果を得ようとすると,トレーニング期間の延長や酸素分圧を更に下げるなどの工夫が必要かもしれない.
