Research Abstract

本研究では、脳におけるビタミンE代謝の機構解明を目的とし、ビタミンE代謝に関わる3つの酵素に関する実験を行った。その結果、α-トコフェロール輸送タンパク質との親和性が、脳のビタミンE同族体濃度に関与している可能性が示された。ビタミンE同族体の脳への取り込みに、リポタンパク質リパーゼが大きく影響する可能性は低いことが示された。シトクロームP450による異化が、脳のビタミンE同族体濃度に関与している可能性が示された。
