Research Abstract

東京大学海洋研究所に設置されている海水中溶存希ガス濃度分析システムを用いて、海水試料の希ガス(ヘリウム、ネオン、アルゴン、クリプトン、キセノン)の精密濃度測定を行なった。フィリピン海の水深4000mまでの海水を分析したところ、中層では北ほど表層水との混合が速いことや、表層水と中層水との混合を示していると考えられる過飽和が見られた。またこれまでほとんど報告されていない深層水の希ガス濃度を分析しその傾向を明らかにした。
