Research Abstract

平成19年度に得られた主な成果を以下に示す。
(1)高純度DWNTについて様々な条件でフッ素かした試料について脱フッ素化を行うと選択的に外の層だけ付いているフッ素のエッチグ効果により欠陥が生じることが分かった。フッ素化程度(処理温度と処理時間)と欠陥の生成及び批評面積は直線的な関係を示した。特に内の層は大きな変化ないことをTEM及びRamanで確認した。
(2)フッ素化したDWNTに対し,発光材料として期待されているCdSeからできた量子ドットをハイブリド化に成功した。外部チューブについているフッ素が活性点として働き,外層に活性が高いCdSe粒子が均一に析出されることをTEMで確認した。特にCdSe量子ドットはDWNTバンドルに埋め込まれ強烈な超音波処理にも構造安定性を見せた。フッ素化DWNTとCdSe/f-DWNTの光学特性から内と外のチューブには構造的カップリングがないことが推測された。
