Research Abstract

本研究では、北海道中西部に位置する厚田川にて外来種のニジマスが在来種であるサクラマスおよび在来生物群集に与える影響を評価した。その結果、河床勾配が緩やかであり、かつ標高が高い場所ほどニジマスが侵入する傾向が認められた。一方で、在来種の密度がニジマスの侵入に対して影響は認められず、サクラマスが選好する支流に多く分布していることが明らかになった。すなわち、ニジマスの侵入の可能性は、物理的要因に比べて非物理的要因が強く影響していることが示唆された。
