Research Abstract

南アラビアのハドラマウト地方(イエメン)と東南アジア双方で文書収集・聞き取り調査を行うことにより、インド洋におけるアラブ(ハドラミー)移民とその子孫が作り上げたネットワーク、特にアラウィー・タリーカを軸とする人のつながりを1990年以降の状況に注目して明らかにした。同時に、日本では入手不可能であったハドラマウトとハドラミー移民に関する基礎文献を購入して大学図書館に納め、日本における今後の研究の礎とした。
