Research Abstract

本研究は、D. H. Lawrence文学を中心に、大戦(間)期のイギリス文学・文化における第一次大戦の衝撃・影響について分析した。文学、文化、政治、社会、医学、精神分析学などの多分野の学際的研究をとおして、特に身体認識と性認識が大戦の衝撃によって劇的に混乱・変化していく様子--本研究では、この現象を「大戦後遺症」と呼ぶ--を明らかにした。
