Research Abstract	本研究は、消費生活センターの相談員が、トラブルに巻き込まれた消費者から寄せられる相談にどのように対応しているのか、その実態の解明を目的としたものである。そこで、立地条件、規模等が異なる複数のセンターに赴き、相談員及び同じセンターで働く職員に聞き取り調査を実施した。その結果、相談員には、法律とトラブル処理との関係について、弁護士とは異なる独特の理解が共有されていることなどが確認された。
