Research Abstract

環境の保全と経済の成長・発展との関係を、経済学における非線形均衡動学理論の最近の発展を踏まえて、理論的な側面から検討した。経済活動がもたらす環境への影響が、効用や生産性に対する外部性として経済主体にフィードバックする状況を考え、また環境の利用における複数の経済主体間の相互依存関係も考慮に入れて、経済発展経路を特徴付ける動学システムの詳細な検討を行った。特に、「長期的に定常状態に収束する均衡経路が無数に存在し、一意に定まらない」という均衡の不決定性が生ずる可能性を明らかにした。
