| Research Abstract |
中小企業向けの銀行取引関係に関するアンケート調査の個票データに,各地域の融資市場の競争度を接続したデータを用いて統計的分析を行ったところ,以下のことが明らかとなった.
(1)融資市場の競争増加は各金融機関の企業固有の信用情報収集意欲を阻害する傾向がある.
(2)このような融資市場の競争増加に伴う企業と銀行の関係の希薄化は,新規企業の融資利用可能性を低下させる傾向がある.
(3)金融機関の合併は,競争を低下させる一方で組織の拡大をもたらすため,上述の情報収集を低下させる傾向がある.
