Research Abstract

高感度硬X線偏光観測を実現するべく、天体硬X線偏光計PoGOLiteの開発を、[1]センサーと読み出しシステムの製作および開発、[2]これら実機を用いた、実験室および加速器施設での実験結果に基づく、装置の応答関数の構築、[3]加速器ビーム試験のデータの詳細解析、の3点に渡り行った。研究は2006年度から2008年度の3年に渡り行い、いずれの項目も十分な成果をあげることができた。関連する論文を6編出版し、うち2編は代表者が主著者であり、その他も主要な貢献を行った。また代表者本人や直接指導した大学院生を中心に、多数の国内外の学会で、継続的に成果発表を行った。
