Research Abstract

標準模型を超える新しい物理模型(New Physics模型)は高エネルギー加速器実験や宇宙論、天体物理などの多様な現象へ興味深い多くの影響を持つ。これらの多様な現象について、New Physics模型を主体に以下に挙げるような多岐にわたる多くの現象論研究を行った。
将来の加速器実験への効果:
将来実験であるLHC実験やその後のILC実験で New Physics模型の検証可能性につて、いくつかの模型を題材としての研究を行った。 また、ヒッグスボソンは将来実験でその存在が直接検証されるであろう。New Physics 模型がヒッグスボソン質量へ与える理論的な制限に対する影響、あるいは、New Physics 模型からのヒッグスボソン質量の予言値についての解析を行った。
New Physics模型の構築:
より現実的なSO(10)大統一理論の必要性や超対称性の破れの機構を自然に説明することなどNew Physics 模型それ自体の発展が必要な部分がある。より満足の行くNew Physics模型の 構築を試み、いくつかの新しい模型を提唱した。
宇宙論:
ダークマターの存在は、標準模型を超えるNew Physics模型の必要性を示唆している。いくつかのNew Physics模型含まれるダークマターの残存量の解析を行い、宇宙観測結果との整合性からNew Physics模型のパラメータへの制限を議論した。また、ダークマター対消滅により生成される宇宙線量を解析し、将来観測での検証可能性を議論した。
超対称場の理論:
上記の現象論研究と平行し、N=2超対称場の理論の非摂動効果まで含めた真空構造についての解析を行った。ここでは、自発的あるいは力学的な超対称性の破れを伴う系を考察し、その真空構造に meta-stableな超対称性の破れた真空構造が存在することを見出した。この系は、現象論的な模型にも適応可能であるものであり、純粋な場の理論以上に興味深いものである。
