Research Abstract

単結晶格子に複数枚のCuO2面を持つ、いわゆる多層系高温超伝導体の面間(c軸)方向の光学伝導度には、超伝導とともにテラヘルツ領域に現れる特徴的な応答があり、物質とドープ量をパラメータにして、その生成機構を探った。さらに、外部磁場によってより低エネルギーに誘起される光学モードがイットリウム系高温超伝導体には存在し、テラヘルツ発光素子の開発を目指して、その性質を研究した。
