Research Abstract

水銀クロムスピネルにおける半磁化相の磁気構造が3up-1downであることが明らかになった。さらに、半磁化相への磁気転移を示す三つ目の系として、亜鉛のクロムスピネルを発見した。このことにより、系統的な比較が可能となり、水銀、カドミウム、亜鉛とイオン半径が小さくなるにつれて、スピン格子相互作用が小さくなり、亜鉛の系では他の系とは異なった磁気相も現れることが明らかになった。
