Research Abstract

1.超伝導体PuRhGa_5の参照物質と考えられるPuIrGa_5の単結晶においてGa核四重極共鳴(NQR)実験を行った。主要なサイトである69Ga(2)核の核四重極周波数ν_Qは、PuRhGa_5の約29.15MHzに比べて、約28.5MHzと大きく異なっていることがわかった。共鳴周波数線幅Δνも半値全幅約0.17MHzと、PuRhGa_5の約0.05MHzと比べると広かった。線幅は、ν_Qの分布と考えられ、PuIrGa_5はPuRhGa_5に比べて単結晶育成が難しく、結晶性が悪いことにも関係している。1.5Kまで実験を行ったが、超伝導転移は見られなかった。また反強磁性秩序も起こらないことが確認できた。NQR緩和率(1/T_1)測定も行い、その温度(T)変化は100K以下でコリンハ的挙動、すなわち(T_1T)^<-1>=一定の振る舞いをしていることがわかった。(T_1T)^<-1>の値もPuRhGa_5の超伝導転移直上の値に近く、電子状態は類似していることがわかった。
2.PuRhGa_5の関連物質である反強磁性NpCoGa_5の単結晶においてGa核、および、Co核核磁気共鳴(NMR)実験、NQR実験を行った。1/T_1の解析から、常磁性状態において、反強磁性スピン揺らぎが、超伝導体であるPuCoGa_5やPuRhGa_5に比べて、非常に増強されていることがわかった。69Ga(2)核のν_Qは28.8MHzとPuRhGa_5に比べてやや小さい。反強磁性秩序状態における詳細なNMR、NQRスペクトル解析から、Gaサイト、Coサイトにおける電場勾配の変化を検知した。5f電子状態を大きく反映しているものと考えている。
