Research Abstract

くし型電極と呼ばれる微細加工で作成した装置を1mK以下の超低温度で用いることで、超流動ヘリウム3薄膜を自在に制御し、新たな巨視的量子現象の舞台としての可能性を探った。その結果、超流動転移温度の膜厚依存性を精密に測定することができ、超流動ヘリウム3薄膜の制御に必要な重要な知見を獲得することができた。
