Research Abstract

本研究では断層すべりの特徴を理解する基礎として粉粒体の固着すべりのパラメータ(粒径、間隙流体の粘性率、せん断速度)依存性を実験的に調べた。その結果、固着すべりが起きる際の応力降下量と応力降下がおきるイベントの時間間隔が粒径に対して比例増大すること、またクリープの程度が減少し、応力降下時に滑り方が滑り速度一定から滑り時間一定へと推移することが分かった。また間隙に粘性流体が入ると応力降下量は減少するものの、応力降下イベントの時間間隔が増大するため粒径効果と区別できること、そして臨界粘性率以上では粘性抵抗の効果が卓越し摩擦が増大することが分かった。
