Research Abstract

大気-海洋混合層結合モデルによる瞬間的CO_2倍増実験より、全球降水量変動におけるCO_2倍増の直接効果を地表面・大気熱収支の観点から評価した。温室効果ガスであるCO_2の増加により、大気よりも熱容量の大きい地表面が加熱される一方、水蒸気とCO_2のオーバーラップ効果は正味地表面放射の変化を抑制するため、それを補うように蒸発による潜熱フラックスが減少する。この結果、CO_2倍増の直接効果として、降水量の減少が引き起こされる。
