Research Abstract

大気海洋結合モデルMIROC(東京大学、国立環境研究所、海洋開発研究機構の共同開発)と領域モデルJMA/MRI NHM(気象庁の開発)とを双方向にネストするモデルを開発した。
そのモデルを使って、北東アジアの大気マルチスケール相互作用研究に適応し、通常の全球モデルでは解像できない小規模渦と小規模山岳の効果を見積もった。
その結果より、小規模渦の効果は領域内部に留まるものの、小規模山岳の効果は全球に及ぶ可能性が示唆された。
