Research Abstract

温暖化予測の評価に用いられた気候モデルの温暖化時の海面水位分布変化を要因(淡水フラックス、熱フラックス、風応力)切り分け実験を行うことによって詳細に調査した。本研究の結果、海面水位上昇分布の変化は、南極周極流周辺部を除き、主に海洋の傾圧応答が支配的であり、これらの分布は主に風応力の変化によって引き起こされていることが示された。しかしながら,北大西洋深層水やモード水などの密度変化による海面水位上昇分布の変化もみられ、熱・淡水フラックスの変化も無視できない。
