Research Abstract

本研究では、生態系情報を使わず陸域気候変動を推定する有効な方法として、湖沼堆積物の珪藻殻などの珪酸塩鉱物と炭酸塩鉱物の酸素同位体比に基づく気候復元法の開発を目的とした。珪酸塩の酸素同位体比についてはフッ素カリウム-フッ化コバルトを用いる分析法の開発に取り組んだ。北海道・サロマ湖において結氷時の湖水の酸素同位体比分布の規定要因を明らかにし、モンゴル・フブスグル湖の堆積物の分析から炭酸塩鉱物の起源推定法の開発などをおこなった。
