Research Abstract

セルロースは天然に最も大量に存在する生分解性材料であり、持続可能な文明社会の構築に必要不可欠なエコマテリアルである。このセルロースを直接化学修飾することにより、有用な高機能性セルロース群を創成することを目指し研究を行った。本課題の研究により、セルロースの6位のみに望みの機能性基を導入するための普遍的な手法の開発とともに、実際にオリゴ糖鎖を導入によってタンパク質認識能を付与したセルロースの合成等に成功した。
