Research Abstract

本研究では,磁気記録の高密度化に向けて符号化と信号処理の立場から研究を行った.特に磁気ディスクでの信号検出の際に生じる広義の雑音から情報を保護するため,性能の高い誤り訂正符号を主たるテーマとして検討した.ストレージ機器では非常に高い信頼性が求められることから,小さな復号後誤り率を達成可能なターボ符号・低密度パリティ検査符号の構成を行い,かつ効率的に実行可能な復号アルゴリズムの提案,評価を行った.
