| Research Abstract |
特定の金属化学種と相互作用するように分子設計された抽出試薬を用いることによって,分離材料に高い金属選択性を与えることができる。本研究では,精密ろ過膜として工業利用されている多孔性中空糸膜(細孔径は0.4 μm,膜厚は1 mm)を基材膜とし,放射線グラフト重合法によって疎水性の高分子鎖を細孔表面に付与し,疎水性膜を作製した。多孔性基材に付与されたグラフト鎖は,その片端が細孔表面に固定され,別の片端が自由に伸びているためフレキシブルな環境を提供する。このグラフト鎖の作り出す空間を金属イオンの抽出相として利用し,高効率に貴金属イオンを精製できることを実証した。
