Research Abstract

大電流重イオンビーム加速を実現するため、レーザープラズマからのビーム引き出しを加速器空洞内の加速電極先端部で行う方法について研究を行った。加速器空洞内にイオン源のプラズマ電極を設置することによる加速器空洞特性に与える影響は無視できるほど小さいことを明らかにした。ビーム引き出し計算により従来方式に比べて加速器へのビーム入射が高効率となることを明らかにした。ビーム加速実験を行い、従来方式よりも高強度のビーム加速を実証することで本方法の有効性を確認した。
