Research Abstract |
メダカは高い再生能力をもち、特にヒレは切断後わずか10日でほぼ元通りのヒレを再生できる。本研究ではメダカのヒレの再生を細胞レベルおよび分子レベルの両方の側面から理解することを目的とし、研究を進めた。その結果、再生時に起こる個々の細胞現象を明らかにし、また低分子化合物阻害剤を用いた実験から、PI3Kシグナル伝達経路がヒレ再生過程での間充織細胞の移動やヒレの血管新生に関与していることを解明した。
