Research Abstract

生物の設計図といわれるゲノムの全塩基配列が次々と明らかになるにつれて,生物が持つ機能や応用に向けた研究は大きく様変わりし,その情報を利用して研究を進める上で必須の研究手法やリソースの整備が求められている.本研究では,世界的に主要な農作物であるオオムギを材料に,ゲノム科学的な研究を進める上で必須と考えられる形質転換法の確立と,それを利用した突然変異体パネルの構築に向けた基礎的な研究を行った.
