Research Abstract

作物の病気の発生を防ぐことは農業にとって最も重要な課題である。しかし、植物の病気には病原体認識、その後のシグナル伝達、抗菌性物質の産生など多くの遺伝子が関与するため、少数の遺伝子を用いた遺伝子発現解析では病害応答を精緻に理解することは困難である。そこで、一度に千から数万の遺伝子の動きを解析できるマイクロアレイを用いて、「カスタムアレイ設計の方法論の確立」および「遺伝子診断法の確立」を試みた。
