Research Abstract

琵琶湖産野生型コイは、大陸のコイとは遺伝的に明瞭に異なる特異な系統である。ところが、琵琶湖には大陸に由来する飼育型コイが何度も放流されており、交雑による遺伝子汚染が懸念されている。そこで本研究では、野生型コイを遺伝的に識別する核DNA マーカーを新たに複数個開発し、琵琶湖におけるコイの交雑状況を調べた。その結果、20m 以深の深層には、比較的純粋な野生型集団が残存していることが判明した。
