Research Abstract

液剤は服用しやすく、高齢者や嚥下障害患者に適している一方で、服用後の血中薬物濃度のコントロールが難しい。そこで、天然高分子のキシログルカンとペクチンを混合した液剤を設計したところ、この液剤は胃内の体温あるいは胃液中のイオンによってゲル化すると、胃内に長時間滞留して薬物放出を制御して血中濃度を一定に保つことから、服用性と薬物徐放性を兼ね備えた経口液剤として有用であることが示された。
