Research Abstract

ビタミンD代謝酵素であるCYP2R1が従来から知られた発現組織である肝臓のみならず、精巣にも強く発現していることを見出した。また、マウスの両組織におけるCYP2R1発現量は、成長期に増加し、成熟期に低下するという特徴的なパターンを示すことを明らかにした。さらに、精巣由来細胞を用いた検討により、CYP2R1の発現は成長ホルモン、性ホルモンにより誘導されること、ビタミンD化合物が細胞増殖抑制作用、男性ホルモン産生亢進作用を有することを明らかにした。
