Research Abstract	klotho 蛋白質の欠損マウスはヒトの老化に類似した多様な症状を示すことから、klotho 蛋白質の機能を調べることで、老化に伴う疾患のメカニズムの理解に繋がると期待される。これまでにklotho 蛋白質の減少が腎臓と肺のタンパク質分解作用を異常高進させることを明らかにしている。そこで、欠損マウスの変化をさらに詳細に解析した結果、腎臓と肺に特異的に異常糖鎖が蓄積することが示された。
