Research Abstract

神経因性疼痛に対して鎮痛作用を有するグリア細胞株由来神経栄養因子(GDNF)の作用標的候補として神経接着因子であるNCAMの解析を行い、脊髄後角においてNCAMを発現する細胞やNCAMを刺激する事で鎮痛効果が得られることを明らかにした。また、GDNF発現レンチウイルスベクターを利用することにより疼痛発症部位に特異的且つ長期的に痛みを取り除くことができる事を示した。
