Research Abstract

遺伝子転写調節領域に存在するCpGアイランドのシトシンメチル化は、遺伝子発現を抑制することが知られている。
本課題では、NGFの高親和性受容体であるTrkA遺伝子の非CpGアイランドのシトシンメチル化により膵癌においてTrkA遺伝子発現が亢進する機序を明らかにするとともに、膵癌の神経周囲浸潤部位の病理組織において、TrkA遺伝子発現と非CpGアイランドメチル化が高率であることを示した。
