Research Abstract

インフルエンザをはじめとする経粘膜感染症やアレルギー治療に有用とされる経鼻ワクチンに関する研究を行った。経鼻ワクチンの効果を増強させるアジュバントとして見いだした、生体成分肺サーファクタントの有効成分を分析し、これを基に人工アジュバントの作成を行った。さらに肺サーファクタントは免疫担当細胞ヘワクチンを運び込む運搬体として働いている可能性を示した。
