Research Abstract

我々は、予後不良とされる婦人科進行癌に対して、遺伝子治療の開発に着手した。腫瘍は自らを栄養する血管やリンパ管を新たに導き(血管新生やリンパ管新生と呼ばれる)、それにより増殖や転移を起こす。卵巣癌や子宮体癌モデルマウスに対し、血管新生やリンパ管新生を抑制する遺伝子治療を行った。その結果、治療用遺伝子を用いると腫瘍増殖や転移の抑制が認められた。これは婦人科癌に対する将来の遺伝子治療の可能性を示唆した結果である。
