Research Abstract	静脈内鎮静法は確実な鎮静効果が得られ歯科臨床においても極めて有効な全身管理法であるが、舌根沈下を生ずることが稀ではなく気道管理の徹底を図らねばならない点が最大の短所として挙げられる。今回、われわれは睡眠時無呼吸症候群患者が就眠時に使用するNasal-CPAP装置を静脈内鎮静法施行時の気道管理に応用し、鎮静効果を阻害することなく非侵襲的に気道の開通性の保持・改善が可能であることを実験的に証明した。
