Research Abstract

近年、テロや犯罪を防ぐための監視システムは安全な社会を維持するために必要な技術となりつつある。しかし、監視カメラはプライバシーの問題により設置できない場所が存在し、防犯上の死角が生じるという問題があった。
光学カメラと異なり、レーダは形状のみを画像化するため、プライバシーの問題と防犯を両立することができる。UWBレーダおよび高速立体レーダイメージング手法(SEABED法)による画像化技術は、そのための有望な手法である。本研究では従来のSEABED法と異なり、アンテナ走査の代わりに人体の歩行運動を利用したイメージング手法の開発を行うことを目的とする。昨年度は、未知の時間的に変動する歩行運動と人体の形状の双方を推定するイメージング手法の開発を行い、数値計算による特性評価を行った。
最終年度となる本年度は、以下の研究を行った。昨年度に開発された手法の有効性を確認するため、実際の人体の歩行運動に近い運動モデルに同手法を適用し、そのイメージング性能を調べた。具体的には、被験者が歩行している様子を動画撮影した。次に、撮影動画に対し画像処理を行うことで歩行運動を時間の関数として推定し、モデル化した。こうして得られた歩行運動モデルへ昨年度に開発したイメージング手法を適用し、同手法で使用するパラメータを最適化し、推定精度を改善した。その結果、提案手法は実際の歩行運動に対しても高精度な形状推定を実現することが確認された。
