Outline of Annual Research Achievements

In line with the decision to develop theoretical concepts prior to conducting incentivized experiments, a proto-project on what a libertarian national identity would look like and its implication for open or closed borders was developed based on Robert Nozick’s work “Anarchy state and utopia.”
The project with Professor Greif, Stanford University, on the central role of moral authorities in the dynamic of moral perceptions steadily progressed resulting in a revised working paper. The insight gained from this project is vital in bridging the micro level of unprofessional actors, the meso level of authority competition and macro levels of moral development effects of political development in countries. Another working paper was written based on a project with Professor Jean Pascal Bassino, a novel approach on understanding how external actors can influence moral processes and which provided an important step to developing more concise understanding of the strategic elements of competition for influence. Both working papers can be found on SSRN.
Revisions were made on “Suspicious minds and views of fairness” for the journal "Theory and Decision" and is currently under review. The paper "Rejecting Non-Paternalist Motivation: An Experimental Test" was re-edited and is forthcoming in the Journal of Experimental Political Science.
